Illustration Friday viene esta semana con un nuevo reto: cargar de puntos la Web.
Pensé que sería divertido ilustrar una foto de mi amigaza Magdalena, en la que su papá está abrazando fuertemente a su sobrino Alejandro. La foto me parece comiquísima porque Alejandro se parece mucho a su abuelo, y su expresión contrasta con el encanto con que el Sr. Lucho lo estrecha… hay amores que matan jijiji.
Illustration Friday comes this week with a new challenge: fill the Web up with spots.
I thought it would be funny to illustrate a photo by my friend Magdalena, which shows her dad hugging tight her nephew Alejandro. I found the original pict hilarious, because Alejandro’s expression contrasts strongly with his grandfather while he hugs him. Also, because they are very alike… sometimes love hurts lol.

Hola, gracias ilustricia por el comment y lo mejor fue q así conocí el sitio, está muy buena la propuesta asiq haré visita seguido. It’s funny – the spotted theme made me think of our son with chicken pox – gotta love the kid, spots or no spots! Nice illo!

Great piece! Reminds me of when both my kids got chicken pox at the same time, just as we were driving for 9 hours from DisneyWorld back home again…miserable finish to a wonderful vacation.

Heehee, the spots serve to explain the grandfather’s somewhat reticent expression :). He must have already had measles though – or he wouldn’t be hugging him at all! I can see the family resemblance between them. A lovely slice-of-life picture!
