Supongo que tu década favorita siempre será aquella en la que fuiste adolescente. Pero creo que haber sido adolescente en los 80s tiene un encanto particular. Fue un tiempo cursi, pero para mí muy divertido… aunque me dé vergüenza recordar cómo me vestía entonces ;)
Por eso ha sido todo un honor (y una gran alegría) que nuestro tópico haya sido escogido en Illo Friday, ojalá esta semana sea tan interesante como la semana pasada, que fue una locura con el tema ‘zumbido’.
José y yo tenemos muchas ideas rondando en nuestras cabezas, pero por ahora nos lanzamos con la más obvia: Thriller, el disco más vendido de la historia. Aún recuerdo vívidamente cómo nos reunimos frente a la tele mis hermanas, mi amigo Ángel y yo a ver el tan esperado estreno del video clip… ¡todo un suceso!
En la ilustración, a la diestra, Godo interpreta la versión dulce de Michael Jackson en los 80s; a la siniestra, la versión oscura del video clip :D

I guess that your favorite decade is the one in which you were a teenager. But being a teenager in the 80s has some special charm. It was a corny time, but funny… although I feel embarrassed for the way I used to dress myself. Gosh!
For that reason it has being such a big honor (and joy) to realize that our topic was chosen this week in Illo Friday! I hope this week is as interesting as the last one; Buzz was a fantastic topic!
Jose and I have so many ideas dancing in our heads, but, for now we took the more obvious one: Thriller, the best-selling album of all time. I still remember clearly when my sisters, my friend Angel and I gathered in front of the TV in order to see the big launching of the video. It was awesome!
To the right of our illo we can see Godo playing the sweetest version of Michael Jackson in that decade; to the left, the dark one from the video :D

Love the illo! So sweet! And great topic! I remember different 80′s – standing in lines for hours… that was sad time in Poland. Good it’s gone.

Soy una nostálgica empedernida. Si bien mi adolescencia fue un tanto complicada (como la de la mayoría, imagino), me encantaría volver a los ’80 simplemente para revivir ciertas sensaciones y asistir a ciertos sucesos.
Estoy ansiosa por ver qué más se les ocurre al respecto. Mientras tanto, les dejo un beso a ambos y un deseo de buen fin de semana. ¡Hasta cualquier momento!

La verdad es que da un poco de verguenza recordar las pintas que llevábamos en aquellos años, pero tb es divertido. Desde luego si hay algo que identifica totalmente a los ochenta es Thriller, para mí insuperable hasta ahora.

Hilarious pic…my cousins came in to spend the weekend with us when that album was released and it was the only time (EVER) my dad turned country music off…of all things to listen to a MJ tape they had brought…needless to say he never made that mistake again…

Aw.. que beio amo a godo.. soy candidata para ser mokita 2 jajaja… estudio diseño grafico, apenas voy x el segundo semestre tonces aki aprendo..jejej me encanta lo que hacen los felicito… 100% talento maracucho
