En 1998 se observó en Maracaibo el último eclipse total de Sol que esta ciudad verÃa el siglo pasado. Fue impresionante observar cómo en cuestión de segundos pasamos del dÃa a la noche y nuevamente de la noche al dÃa. Imperdible para un Godo ;)

In 1998, it was seen in Maracaibo the last total solar eclipse that we’d witness in the last century. It was amazing to realize how -within a few seconds- we passed from day to night and vice versa. Something Godo couldn’t miss!

Clever idea!! Even though we understand the eclipse I still love how mysterious it is that the ancient Mayan civilization was able to predict the exact date of each one.
