Cualquier cosa que pueda hacer más que llevadero el camino al trabajo tiene que ser MUY buena. Pink Martini y Tok Tok Tok son parte del ya nutrido repertorio de Godo y son la causa de que llegue siempre de buen humor a todas partes.
Pink Martini es ciertamente una banda difícil de catalogar tanto por la variedad de estilos y los idiomas de sus piezas como por el origen y gustos de sus integrantes. Desde su creación en 1994 han procurado transmitir una imagen más abierta y positiva de la cultura estadounidense.
Uno de nuestros objetivos es hacer música atractiva a muchas personas, sin importar quiénes son o de dónde vienen. [vía]
¡Y en qué forma lo logran! Entre nuestras favoritas están: Eugene, Sympathique, Qué será será, ¿Dónde estás, Yolanda? y La soledad.
Tok Tok Tok, por su parte, con poco más que un inusual trío voz-bajo-saxo y una excelente combinación de ritmos y silencios puede sacar a cualquiera de la rutina habitual de súbito.
Una de las primeras piezas que nos cautivó de este grupo alemán es su versión de Alone again (naturally) de Gilbert O’Sullivan. Lo más curioso para nosotros es que lo que conocimos de niños de esta canción era una torpe versión en español interpretada por Los tres tristes tigres,* que aunque nos encantaba entonces, no tiene nada que ver con el toque de Tok Tok Tok.

A la música tengo que escucharla antes de opinar, pero si le gusta a Godo, seguro que me va a encantar!
Lo que sí me volvió loca es el nuevo look de Godo! Qué moderno! Se nota que la música le hace bien! ;)

¡Ceci! Estoy segura de que -por lo menos- las versiones de “Qué será será” (Pink Martini) y “Alone again” (Tok Tok Tok) te encantarán.
Este nuevo Godito fue hecho por José, quien está muy aplicado con el Illustrator :D

as the world keeps bringing you good stuff, you should spare the goodies you have yourself right?. So, you recommended me two bands, then I shall recommend you two bands as well:
+ Death cab for Cutie: It’s deep sound, and it’s great meaning on the lyrics, makes this band one of a kind. They can get you excited on a song, and on the other one, they turn you into a crying machine. Their best songs to me are: What Sarah Said, Marching Bands of Manhattan.
Arctic Monkeys: Not what you’re used to hear, but something you must give a try to. They are from England, their rock is what people love to call “Post-punk revival”, their music is full of energy, and super fun to listen. They mix this “electric energy” sound, with amazing lyrics about it all, bad girls, shitty things in life, and among that, the funny that you should never lose. Their best songs: I bet you look good on the dance floor, Fluorescent Adolescent, No buses and Brianstorm.
You might not like these bands, but I feel, that when it comes to music, we all have a voice and a piece of it that we all want to share. Here are mines, and I appreciate yours. Take care Pati.
